Let us start with the conclusion. The perfect resume does not exist, and neither does the perfect cover letter.
What does exist, however, is the perfect resume for a specific job posting, for applying to a specific company. I cannot optimize in advance. I must create a self-presentation that highlights commonalities with my interlocutor, bringing to light my relevant skills and, no less importantly, my cultural fit. This is what it is about: matching the requirements, but above all, aligning in terms of the skills to be utilized and goals for the future.
